“We are at the stage where we don’t know many things,” Sinner answers. “It is what it is. I am here trying to prepare for a grand slam.”

“In my mind I know exactly what happened. And that’s how I block it. I haven’t done anything wrong – that’s why I’m still here.”

When speaking on whether he is now nervous about taking medicines or eating certain foods, Sinner is clear – “No”.

“Because I’ve done the same thing before… I was very, very careful [with] every single medicine that I [took]… I was always very, very careful, and I haven’t changed.”

The Italian also responds relatively curtly when a reporter asks about the reaction surrounding the doping tests from others on the tour – specifically mentioning online posts made by Australian Nick Kyrgios.

“I don’t think I have to answer this, to be honest… I don’t want to respond to what Nick says, or what any other player says,” Sinner says.
