Greg Marzhew can cause some carnage when he has the ball in his hands. Yes, he can be a liability under kicks and his defensive positioning won’t appear in any text books, but when he gets those big legs going, watch out. He is already at 170m running metres in this match. Exceding 200m is within reach.

Their own worst enemies
Remember back to early in the game when Felise Kaufusi was sanctioned for not playing the ball properly. Jeremy Marshall-King mustn’t have been paying attention to that because he’s now been pinged TWICE for doing the same thing. The NRL is hard enough as it is without compounding errors withe more errors. Knights lead 26-6 after 60 minutes

NRL games to be produced in-house?
NRL supremo Peter V’landys said the idea of an in-house production team supplying live content to streaming services may be part of the game’s next broadcast deal. Netflix, Amazon, Apple and co. are the types V’landys wants in the room when carving up the game’s broadcasting rights take place.

By George, a try for Lucas
Dylan Lucas, that impressive young Knights back-rower is the latest to cash in on some poor Dolphins defending. After they stumbled their way through another attacking raid, the Knights made it look too easy. A 30+ point win is looming large. Knights lead 26-6 after 46 minutes.
Players return for second half
Can the Dolphins score first and get themselves back into this contest? If they score the first try they has reason to dream, but if the Knights beat them to it, a large final margin may result.

How are the brothers faring?
At the break, it’s a clear win for Jacob Saifiti over the twin Daniel so far. The Knights prop has nine runs for 101m and 10 tackles, with Dolphin Daniel had just four runs for 35m (and 15 tackles) during his opening salvo.

Half-time: Ponga firing, Dolphins reeling
That was a tremendous first 40 minutes from Kalyn Ponga. A direct involvement in three of Newcastle’s first four tries. He was a step ahead of anything the Dolphins were able to throw at him. If he keeps this going – and stays on the field – for the rest of this season, the Knights might emerge as a top-four contender. It’s only round two, but Ponga already looks to be in mid-season form. Knights lead 20-6
